We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Senior Product Marketing Manager, Rock n Roll Running Series North America, reporting to the Vice President Marketing, North America & World Championship Events, based in our Tampa, FL or Boulder, CO office. The Opportunity: The Rock n Roll Running Series is our largest participation brand in North America. The 2027 portfolio spans six events, Arizona, CELSIUS Rock n Roll Las Vegas, St. Jude Rock n Roll Washington DC, St. Jude Rock n Roll Nashville, San Diego and San Jose, planned to deliver over 125, 000 runners. This is a genuine player-coach role. You will personally own the marketing strategy and execution for 2 to 3 events while leading and developing 1 to 2 Product Marketing Managers who own the remainder of the series. You will set the North America Rock n Roll marketing strategy, and be accountable for the registration, revenue and runner experience outcomes that sit behind it. The brand is at an inflection point. Acquisition is strong, with first timers now 62% of the field, and Las Vegas up 15% year on year led by growth in the 25 to 34 segment, women and first-time runners. Retention is the gap, with repeat participation slipping to 24%, and the series remains hyper local, with 53% of runners travelling less than 100 miles and around 91% domestic. Our 2027 plan is built on four pillars: destination, community, modernisation and creative, supported by a brand refresh and a reworked Heavy Medals loyalty programme. We are looking for a modern, culturally fluent marketer who can move Rock n Roll from an event series to a lifestyle brand. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Strategy & Commercial Ownership Own runner registration volume, revenue, yield and retention targets for the North America Rock n Roll portfolio.Develop and land the annual North America Rock n Roll marketing strategy, delivering against the destination, community, modernisation and creative pillars.Lead the registration opening strategy across the series, including presale, Early Bird, general registration, key announcement moments and price increases.Forecast performance, identify risk early, and reallocate effort and spend across events to close gaps against target.Lead the regional rollout of the Rock n Roll brand refresh and the Heavy Medals loyalty programme, ensuring the new positioning is felt at every stage of the runner journey. Hands-On Event Marketing (2 to 3 Events) Personally own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for an assigned group of 2 to 3 Rock n Roll events, applying the same standards expected of the wider team.Deliver the full marketing plan for those events, spanning brand positioning, creative direction, CRM, paid media, organic social, grassroots and onsite activation.Lead race-week and onsite marketing delivery, including expo and presale activation, finish festival experience, content capture and social execution.Act as the marketing lead for those event teams, working alongside Regional Directors, Race Directors, Operations and Athlete Services. CRM, Data & Performance Marketing Partner with CRM, Digital and Analytics teams to build segmentation, lifecycle and automation strategies that improve conversion and lifetime value, with a specific focus on converting first timers into repeat runners.Analyse registration behaviour, funnel performance and campaign KPIs to identify opportunities and optimisation levers across the series.Own the always-on paid media framework with the Digital team and agency partners, sustaining return on ad spend while growing total registrations.Apply a test-and-learn approach to creative, audience and channel mix, including emerging channels such as connected TV, and share learnings across the wider North America marketing team. Community, Partnerships & Athlete Development Scale the ambassador, run club, Groupies and influencer programmes into a consistent, measurable community engine across every market.Build a monthly grassroots activation cadence in each host city, including shakeout runs, course previews and co-hosted community events.Strengthen destination positioning with CVBs, host cities, hotels and travel partners to grow travel-based registrations beyond the local market.Collaborate with the Partnerships team to activate title and category partners in ways that add genuine value for runners. Brand, Content & Media Ensure brand consistency and quality across every touchpoint, and champion lifestyle-led, culturally relevant storytelling over transactional promotion.Direct content and creative planning across the series, including photography and videography briefs, user generated content, creator partnerships and short-form video.Partner with Communications and PR on media outreach, credentialing, and onsite media delivery for major events and key business announcements. Budget, Pricing & Stakeholder Management Plan, own and manage the North America Rock n Roll marketing budget, ensuring efficient spend and strong return on investment.Support the VP Marketing on pricing, tier and yield management strategy for the series, reducing reliance on price as a promotional tool.Present performance, insights and plans to senior executives in weekly, monthly and quarterly forums, including business reviews.Work cross-functionally with Operations, Athlete Services, Partnerships, Finance and Global teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence. People Leadership, Culture & Performance Lead, coach, and develop 1-2 Product Marketing Managers through clear expectations, regular feedback, and meaningful career conversations.Set portfolio priorities and workload across the team so ownership is unambiguous and every event has a clear marketing lead.Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where diverse perspectives are valued and team members can do their best work.Model IRONMANs BE ICONIC behaviors and athlete-first mindset in daily decisions, team rituals, and onsite leadership presence.Build a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and learning across events.Partner cross-functionally to strengthen alignment, shared ownership, and consistency of experience across the event ecosystem.Take active ownership of team engagement, clarity of roles, and performance outcomes. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay ahead of running, culture and endurance industry trends, competitor activity and the fast-moving run club and creator landscape.Champion new tools and ways of working, including AI-enabled marketing tools and event-level agents, to lift the productivity of a lean team.Contribute ideas that elevate the runner experience, improve satisfaction and strengthen long-term brand loyalty. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.5+ years of progressive marketing experience in sport, live events, ticketing or premium direct-to-consumer brands, including experience leading or mentoring others.Proven track record of owning end-to-end, multi-channel campaigns at scale with clear commercial outcomes across CRM, paid media, social, content, community and grassroots.Demonstrated expertise in analysing marketing metrics, forecasting demand and using data to drive decisions.Experience managing budgets, pricing inputs and performance reporting.Experience building brand and community with younger, lifestyle-led audiences is highly desirable, as is knowledge of road running, run clubs and creator marketing.Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, comfortable moving between portfolio strategy and hands-on delivery.Excellent communication, influencing and project management skills, and the ability to stay organised and resilient under pressure. Work Environment, Travel & Availability Based in Tampa, FL or Boulder / Louisville, CO. Hybrid working, minimum three days per week in office.Attendance at all events within the personally owned portfolio, plus selected events led by direct reports and key series moments. Approximately 30% domestic travel.Ability move around the event site for extended periods, including long event days, outdoor conditions, and uneven surfaces.Willingness to work weekends, extended days, and non-traditional hours aligned to event delivery.Valid drivers license.
