Overview

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is searching for a Diesel Parts Coordinator.

Position Summary

Responsible for working with internal and external customers to place orders, place quotes, resolve problems, and enter parts information into Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Use part number system to locate part numbers, pricing information, and unit serial numbers.
  • Create part numbers and identify prices and brand codes.
  • Interact with project managers, engineers, and technical writers to create spare parts lists.
  • Provide backup for other employees in the department as needed.
  • Will communicate with some foreign offices and customers.
  • Will work with price margins, price quotes, and sales orders.
  • Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data information entered and make necessary corrections.

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situation.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and two to four years related experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excel skills should be at the intermediate level.

Prior experience with JD Edwards, Oracle, or other ERP systems preferred.

Other Requirements:

Familiarity with quote protocol, INCO terms, and export requirements. Basic geographical knowledge.
