Responsibilities Receive and process returned medications from long-term care facilitiesInspect returned drugs for compliance with state and federal regulationsDocument and categorize returnsPrepare documentation for credits and coordinate with billing, as neededSafely dispose of or prepare medications for restocking following proper proceduresMaintain accurate records of all returned items and actions takenEnsure proper handling of controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulationsCollaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to support workflow and complianceMaintain a clean and organized returns areaAssist with inventory management and audits as necessaryFollow all company, state, and federal safety and compliance guidelines Qualifications High School diploma or equivalentLicensed FL Pharmacy Technician requiredPrevious pharmacy experience preferred Previous data entry experience preferredMust be reliable and execute multiple tasks assignedGood organizational skills and detail orientedAbility to physically perform light lifting Benefits Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offEmployee Assistance Program EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
