What You'll Do:

CAD

  • Update models in Solidworks and create drawings to document product configurations.
  • Review existing drawings and maintain accurate records.


Product Development

  • Resarch new product ideas and methods.
  • Present prototypes and designs to team and project managers.


Process Improvement

  • Document current processes using industry standard templates
  • Improve existing products and processes.


Safety

  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards
  • Create / Document standard operating procedures for equipment on the shop floor using Maintain X software.


What We Need:
  • Experience with Solid modeling & CAD software (Solidworks & AutoCAD experience preferred)
  • An understanding of engineering principles and safety standards
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Obtaining or completed a degree in mechanical engineering or similar
