Job Description
S & K Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Aircraft Mechanic II in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position.
This position is CONTINGENT on contract award. S& K Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to perform organizational-level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on P-8A aircraft at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The position performs troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, component replacement, maintenance documentation, and flight-line support.

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, remove, and install aircraft systems and components
- Interpret technical publications, schematics, drawings, and maintenance instructions
- Perform operational checks and assist with aircraft inspections
- Document maintenance actions in NALCOMIS/OOMA and required aircraft records
- Support aircraft launches, recoveries, servicing, towing, jacking, and movement
- Lead maintenance tasks or inspect work when qualified and designated
- Comply with NAMP, safety, quality, tool-control, and FOD-prevention requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection procedures
- Ability to interpret aircraft technical data and use required tools and test equipment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess and maintain a current Top Secret security clearance
- Must be willing to travel when required
- Must have a valid state driver's license when required by job assignment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a flightline driver's license if required
Preferred Qualifications
- P-8, P-3, 737, or comparable military aircraft experience
- NAMP, NALCOMIS, OOMA experience
- Plane Captain, CDI, CDQAR, ordnance, or aircraft-turn qualifications
