Aircraft Logs & Records Technician

This position is CONTINGENT on contract award. S& K Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to maintain aircraft, engine, component, inspection, and maintenance records supporting P-8A aircraft at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The position performs maintenance data entry, review, correction, reconciliation, reporting, and records-management functions.

• Maintain aircraft, engine, component, inspection, and maintenance records
• Enter, retrieve, review, and correct maintenance data in NALCOMIS/OOMA
• Review maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Track inspections, technical directives, configuration data, and time-change items
• Research and resolve maintenance-record discrepancies
• Prepare reports, archives, backups, and maintenance-data extracts
• Support aircraft transfers, detachments, audits, inspections, and records reviews
• Protect sensitive, controlled, and classified information
• Perform other duties as assigned, including TDY or travel if required

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of aircraft logs and records, maintenance administration, or aviation maintenance data experience
• Experience using Navy aviation maintenance systems, including NALCOMIS/OOMA
• Working knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program records and documentation requirements
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess and maintain a current Secret security clearance
• Must be willing to travel when required
