What are we looking for?The
Environmental Staff Scientist/Engineer/Geologist is responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including Phase I/II ESA's, asbestos surveys, lead-based paint survey, UST/LUST assessments, site remediation, soil/groundwater sampling and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as work on technical reports and proposals. This position could travel 50% of the time depending on project load/location.
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8: 00AM-5: 00PM (may vary)
What you'll do: - Environmental Site Assessments - Phase I/II/III
- Provide field support in environmental projects such as soil/groundwater sampling
- Perform Field Documentation / Report Preparation
- Maintain Training Records / Field Instrumentation / Certifications (will provide training updates)
- Coordinate Project Data / Records / Reports related to the work assignments
- Participate in all QA/QC programs as appropriate and Safety Programs
- Perform other non-typical assignments upon availability as assigned by management
- Most field work will be conducted in remote, undeveloped areas

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: - BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
- 2+ years' experience in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills
- Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: - Soil & Groundwater Remediation experience
- CAD/GIS experience
- Project management experience
