What You'll Do Join our Personal Lines Underwriting team and help us deliver thoughtful solutions and exceptional service to our agency partners and policyholders. Key Responsibilities Make Thoughtful Underwriting Decisions Review new business, renewals, inspections, quote exceptions, and policy changes for eligibility, appropriate rating, and alignment with underwriting guidelines.Evaluate risk information and claims activity to make informed underwriting decisions within your level of authority. Build Strong Partnerships Provide responsive, solutions-focused support to agency partners and clearly communicate underwriting decisions.Collaborate with Sales, Claims, and other teams to resolve policy questions and support shared business goals. Deliver Quality Service Process underwriting transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong service and documentation standards.Help identify opportunities to improve processes and the experience we provide to our agency partners. Learn, Grow & Support Others Continue developing your underwriting knowledge and take on greater authority and complexity as your experience grows.At more experienced levels, evaluate complex risks and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to teammates. What You'll Bring Experience in Personal Lines underwriting, insurance, agency operations, or a related field; the level of the position will be based on your experience and underwriting knowledge.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.A collaborative, service-focused approach and an interest in building positive relationships with agency partners and teammates.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Thoughtful problem-solving skills and the ability to use sound judgment when making decisions.Comfort using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.College degree preferred.Property & Casualty license and/or insurance designations are a plus.
