Overview The
Personal Banking Assistant in the Wealth Management Division is responsible for providing personalized support in all phases of customer service, client relationship building, and account maintenance to Wealth Management Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities The Personal Banking Assistant will be responsible for new account documentation, customer transactions, wire transfer processing, overdrafts, return item processing, customer service inquiries, outbound marketing and cross-selling of banking products, and other general administrative support. The Personal Banking Assistant must also comply with all established CIP and BSA/AML requirements.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Finance and one (1) to three (3) years of banking experience, specifically related to servicing customers in activities such as wire transfers and new accounts, or
- Two Year College Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of banking experience required, specifically related to servicing customers in activities such as wire transfers and new accounts; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be knowledgeable in internal bank operations (wire transfers, debits/credits and loan payments) and of other banking products to cross-sell.
- Must be able to resolve problems and adjusts tactics in response to changing circumstances.
- Must have the capability to prioritize, budget time and maintain work priorities.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be knowledgeable on X-Pert AML applications.
- Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Computer knowledgeable in MS Software, (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Jack Henry training and knowledge of banking laws and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act/AML and Patriot Act is preferred.
- Knowledge on the completion of KYC (Know Your Customer) and BSA requests (RFIs, Due Diligence) is preferred.
