The Ultrasound Sonographer's primary function is to produce diagnostic images of the highest quality within departmental and professional guidelines while demonstrating a service-oriented approach when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. This position will be located at Nemours Children's Health Outpatient Specialty Care in Pensacola, Florida.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Essential Functions:

• Performs Medical Imaging Examination, i.e., in Radiant and PACS • Provides continuous patient care

• Evaluate the work environment and respond to changes

• Performs radiographic quality control functions and Image processing

• Communicates Medical Information

• Maintains equipment and work environment

• Performs clerical/ PACS duties

Qualifications:

ARDMS Registered and CPR Certification preferred. ARDMS registry eligible is acceptable but must achieve ARDMS within one year of employment

Licenses, Registrations or Certifications: ARDMS Certification

ARRT Certification and Florida HRS licenses preferred, but not required
