RRT/PFT

Nemours is seeking an RRT/PFT to join a great team in Orlando, FL! This position is responsible for: Performing all aspects of pulmonary function and related testing. Demonstrates knowledge of pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Responsibilities:

Performs routine and specialty pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and metabolic assessment testing.

Performs complete and accurate patient assessment or reassessment.

Maintains and orders supplies necessary for pulmonary function lab.

Assist with patient flow of clinic.

Ensure provider's orders are completed.

Ensures medications are safely stored in an appropriate area as designated by law, and that medication expiration dates are evaluated on a monthly schedule.

Ensures accurate ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes are recorded.

Support the durable medical equipment needs of patients.

Respond to equipment issues for patients at ambulatory appointments

Qualifications:

• Associates or higher degree in Respiratory Care required
• Current licensure in Florida as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT required
• Current American Heart Association BLS required
