Job Description
Nemours is hiring a Pediatric Radiologist in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time position.
Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist to join our team at our Orlando, Florida location.
Nemours Radiology is one of the largest pediatric radiology groups in the United States, comprised of more than 50 pediatric radiologists working together to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional radiology services at our locations in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Over the past year, approximately 500, 000 imaging examinations were performed across the system. The enterprise is integrated within a single PACS, with faculty working from shared worklists, participating in multi-site conferences and initiatives, and sharing after hours responsibilities including a dedicated team of both evening and overnight radiologists, dedicated to covering the after hours workload. Faculty are licensed in all four states and credentialed throughout the system as well as partner institutions.
This is an on-site position, with some flexibility and ability to work remotely from home. The candidate will participate in fluoroscopy call with the group, noting that we utilize US to assess for volvulus overnight and we have a delayed intussusception process for patients that present after hours. We have 10 local radiologists that share call, and we have a coverage model that manages evening and after-hours work noted above. Preference will be given to those with Fetal, Neuroradiology or MSK cross sectional skill sets. A generous signing bonus will be extended as well as a moving allowance.
Nemours Radiology provides full pediatric imaging services (diagnostic and interventional) for Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, in Wilmington, Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, in Orlando, Nemours Children's Specialty Care in Jacksonville, FL, Nemours Children's Clinic and West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL, Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL as well as several hospital partners for pediatric radiology.
Academic appointment at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine will be recommended commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates with interest in Quality & Safety as well as Research & Education are encouraged to apply.
