Join a leading company in the Maritime Industry in a critical role on our Marketing team! Moran Towing Corporation (www.morantug.com) has an exciting opportunity available as a Marketing Manager in our Jacksonville, FL or New Canaan, CT office. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work in the office 3 days per week. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Director, Marketing.

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives that support both brand awareness and demand generation across Moran's diverse lines of business. This role will join a growing Marketing and Communications team and will report into the Director of Marketing.

The Marketing Manager will take strategic direction from the Director of Marketing and work closely with leaders across individual business units to align marketing efforts with business priorities. This role will be responsible for translating those inputs into cohesive marketing initiatives and overseeing their execution, partnering closely with internal creative resources to produce high-quality marketing materials.

A successful candidate for this role is a well-rounded marketer who is comfortable balancing strategy and execution, enjoys collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, and thrives in a small-team environment where flexibility and initiative are key.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Partner with the Director of Marketing to translate strategic direction into actionable marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand marketing needs and align initiatives with business goals.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives that support brand awareness and demand generation.
• Own overall campaign calendar for the organization, covering digital and in-person channels.
• Manage overall project timelines, workflows, and feedback cycles to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work closely with the rest of the marketing communications team on development of marketing collateral at every stage of the marketing pipeline (social media, website, sales, etc).
• Collaborate closely with the Content Lead and Designer to set priorities and guide creative projects from concept through completion.
• Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards, messaging, and strategic objectives.
• Write, edit, and review marketing content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
• Support the ongoing development and refinement of marketing processes and best practices.
• Step in to support additional marketing needs as required in a small, collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing or related field.
• Experience supporting both brand-building and demand-generation initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing and executing on integrated marketing campaigns.
• Well versed in collaborating with creative resources such as content marketing, design, or an agency.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Able to both collaborate on projects and drive initiatives independently.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and common marketing and content tools.

Working Conditions
  • Travel as necessary (approximately 30%).
  • This role is based out of either our Jacksonville, FL, or New Canaan, CT headquarters.

Pay Transparency

Moran Towing Corporation offers generous benefits, opportunities for professional growth, and competitive salaries based on geographic location. Our target pay range for the Marketing Manager position is $110, 000 -$125, 000 per year. This pay range represents Moran's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
