Patient Access Manager Job Title: Regional Health Center Manager Department: Clinical Operations Division: Patient Services FLSA Class: Exempt Reports To: Director of Health Center Operations Supervises: Health Center Managers Position Summary The Regional Health Center Manager will manage and operate multiple health centers within the designated region. This position requires a strategic leader who can ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, optimize operational efficiency, and drive growth and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, healthcare management experience, and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. Job Essential Duties Achieving business goals and revenue targetsOverseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectivesRecruiting, training, and supporting Health Center managers as well as conducting regular performance appraisalsPlanning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effectiveEnsuring company standards and procedures are followedDetermine workflows and implement procedures that are efficient and effectiveAssist in the preparation of monthly departmental and project reportsParticipates as a member of the management team in the overall management of the health center sitesManages risks by ensuring that all services provided meet quality standards and meetall internal and external regulations/guidelinesRecommend changes to existing policies and new policies regarding patient outreach to improve efficiencies and effectivenessMonitor specific aspects of statistical dataLearn and become familiar with what community partners are available for our patients (food, basic needs, transportation, and insurance)Assists with bringing new resources to the communityAssists with advertising promotionsCollaborates with community partnersAttends community partner and collaborative meetings as appropriate for the department Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Excellent listening and interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communicationCritical/Strategic thinkingAbility to receive and act upon feedback in a calm, professional mannerSystems thinking and process improvement mindsetAbility to multi-task and prioritize tasks, projects, and demandsAbility to lead, influence, and work collaboratively with othersCustomer service focuses on impacting the patient experience and employee retentionAbility to connect with patients/others and help them feel at easeAbility to effectively interact with customers, staff, and others even in stressful situationsComfortable and adept with technologyAbility to maintain confidence and demonstrate discretionKnowledgeable of medical office workflows for both clinical & non-clinical roles, billing, and staff scheduling Requirements & Preferences Bachelors degree in a related field preferredNote: 5+ years medical office experience will be accepted instead of Bachelors degree in addition to other experience requirements3+ years experience in healthcare management and staff scheduling requiredCertified Medical Office Manager (e.g. CMOM) or similar certification preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel requiredExperience with HEDIS measures and Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies a plusClinical experience a plusExperience with EMR systems, knowledge of clinical portals, and reporting a plusBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus and may be required for certain locationsMust have a valid Florida Driver License in order to drive to various sites Physical Demands & Equipment Use Physical demands described here must be met by an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully.
