As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, you play a crucial role in crafting top-tier cybersecurity solutions for a range of software applications and platform products. Your expertise and contributions have a substantial impact on the business, as you leverage your deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address a wide variety of cybersecurity challenges across multiple technology domains.

Job responsibilities
  • Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks.
  • Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors .
  • Creating and propagating (developing ) security design patterns to support building consistent and secure technology solutions.
  • Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments of products and features to identify and prioritize security risks.
  • Work with architects and developers to design and implement secure code practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure security is embedded in the design.
  • Perform regular risk and control assessments for applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with firm standards.
  • Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on security concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Proficient with IT controls and compliance standards, particularly FFIEC experience.
  • Good experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages or applications.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines.
  • Good experience with design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
  • Good hands on experience evaluating current and emerging technologies and recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience on JPMC's US Dollar High Value and Automated Clearing House payments.
  • Cloud Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architecture Associate/Professional, AWS Security Specialty.
