As a Program/Project Manager in the Payments Operations Strategic Project Office, you will be responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of a multi-year, strategic Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning agenda across Payment Operations. You will support the senior leadership team, help solve complex problems and address strategic issues critical to the business. You will deliver solutions that are focused on digitalization, machine learning, and technical innovation. You will work closely with Operations business owners, Technology partners, Product team, and the client to track key deliverables. Projects are typically team-based and include heavy interaction and collaboration with leaders and employees across the division.
Job responsibilities - Lead and support the delivery of key projects: Create/maintain project plans/status, lead stakeholder meeting agendas, drive accountability
- Develop a multi-year strategic delivery plan for Ops with a focus on the Hands Free Program agenda
- Collaborate with key partners across global Technology, Operations, and Data Science teams.
- Create executive summaries/scorecards/deck presentations for SteerCo stakeholders and sponsors
- Organize program team meetings to review tasks, deliverables, and program status
- Demonstrate data analytical skills to identify/rationalize new opportunities, measure progress/success of inflight initiatives
- Oversee the execution of programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, effective risk mitigation, and timely delivery of commitments.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor program progress, make informed decisions, and direct necessary adjustments to ensure the successful delivery of program commitments.
- Build, lead, and manage diverse teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth, and effectively delegating tasks to ensure efficient and effective achievement of objectives.
- Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on program progress, and collaborating to resolve any arising issues.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities - Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Ability to organize and analyze data sets, and create executive presentations and key messages
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and influence teams in a cross-functional, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, etc.), Business Objects, SharePoint
- Seasoned project management or like experience, with proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects across various business units
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models, make inferences from data, and provide continuous insight for program execution
- Proven experience in conflict management, with the ability to identify conflicts, facilitate discussions, and create win-win solutions using collaboration or negotiation strategies
- Advanced computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use technology to perform tasks, solve problems, and communicate in a professional setting
- Proficient in strategic thinking, with the ability to use data to understand issues and opportunities, evaluate potential scenarios, and collaborate on strategy and priority development
