We are searching for the best talent for Electro-Mech Service Eval Tech I to be in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Purpose:

Evaluate, test, and document electromechanical medical products using documented procedures and specifications.

You will be responsible for:

  • Utilize Repair Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures to perform daily tasks.
  • Utilize data entry skills to create work orders as needed.
  • Evaluate returned medical equipment for proper cosmetics and functionality.
  • As assigned, perform visual testing on medical devices.
  • Conduct tests of electromechanical products as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures.
  • Thoroughly document work performed (i.e. but not limited to parts used, test results, and root cause analysis) in both writing and photographical in the complaint management software.
  • Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and ensure calibration.
  • Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures including those relating to safety and quality.
  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the
  • highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
  • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer
  • Be familiar with and adhere to J& J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. Immediately inform supervisors If there are any violations, deviations or hazards present related to health, safety or environment.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS*

  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures.
  • Ability to provide detailed documentation of work results.
  • Basic math skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Understanding of AC/DC circuitry and basic mechanical technology
  • One year of experience performing troubleshooting and PM on basic electronic, electromechanical or medical equipment following current standards, code, and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of those devices.
  • Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using technological tools (computer) and familiar with technological programs (Example: Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
  • Operate with efficiency and sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments.
  • Empower and inspire others.
  • Ability to deliver results in an uncertain environment, ability to multitask and prioritize.
