POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President, Operations (Mechanicals) is responsible for leading operations for Jabil’s Injection Molding products, Sterilization capabilities, and Healthcare customers with over $1B in revenue and headcount of approximately 4, 000 workers across multiple locations. The successful candidate is a proven leader with experience overseeing manufacturing facilities across the U.S., bringing a strategic, agile mindset and a strong track record as a change agent in operations. They will help create and execute key strategies that move the site forward with great effectiveness in a complex and dynamic external landscape. The individual must be resilient and collaborative, who works well as part of a team and has the executive courage to challenge status quo, make difficult recommendations and decisions. They possess superior operations stewardship navigating the complexities of a dynamic global market, an operational excellence mindset, authentic leadership, and impactful communication and influence skills.
The VP, Operations (Mechanicals) is a strategic business partner to the SVPs and VPs of Global Business Units and Finance and plays a key role managing a strategic roadmap for operations at the site to meet customer demands and regulatory requirements, as applicable. They drive a shared vision with Global Business Units to achieve strategic objectives within the location. They cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Jabil to ensure that customer needs / demand is well executed at the highest level of quality while achieving optimal margin. They bring credibility, insight, and industry fluency to interactions with internal and external constituents including customers, industry partners, finance, and business units. The VP, Operations (Mechanicals) will be interpersonally adept and will inspire, motivate, and develop a team of top tier operational professionals. They lead as a consistent role model for others and message the importance of integrity and behaving in accordance with Jabil’s values, compliance, and ethical standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Seasoned Leader
20+ years of progressive experience in operations and business unit leadership, with increasing scope and responsibility, including oversight of multi-site and large‑scale operations. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct multi‑disciplinary operations management teams to deliver financial performance, operational excellence, and the highest standards of quality.
Industry Focus
Executive leadership of operations with deep expertise in contract manufacturing, particularly within healthcare and other highly regulated industries, such as FDA-governed customers.
Operational Excellence Experience
Experience in a complex, global manufacturing business; demonstrated ability to lead manufacturing operations with over $1B in revenue across multiple locations. Hands-on experience managing a team, working closely with the business units, finance and other functions of a complex, low-margin global manufacturing business. Proven record of manufacturing optimization including automation, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
In-Country Workforce Management
Seasoned executive with a strong track record of leading large, geographically dispersed operations across North America, combining regional market insight with cultural sophistication to build credibility, alignment, and performance across diverse teams.
Education and Credentials
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in operations, engineering, finance/accounting, or business management. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
