The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is looking for a Seamstress to join their team!

The Beach House Fort Lauderdale, A Hilton Resort is three miles away from Las Olas Boulevard's vibrant restaurants and shops, with Fort Lauderdale Airport less than seven miles away.

Ideal Candidate will have at least one year of Sewing, Alterations, Laundry and Customer Service experience and will be able to communicate and understand the English language.

Shift Pattern: Full Availability. Candidate will work rotating shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Seamstress, you would be responsible for receiving and distributing clean, pressed uniforms for team members in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Receive, record, store and distribute clean, pressed team member uniforms
• Wash and iron team member uniforms and guest clothing, as needed
• Arrange dry cleaning and laundry processing
• Provide laundry, pressing, sewing, and other similar services to guests
• Press shower curtains and banquet table skirting
• Deliver guest requests of towels and other miscellaneous items, as needed
• Perform Room Attendant duties, as needed
• Maintain linen room and uniform store
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Coordinates the fitting, ordering, issuing, altering, cleaning and repair/replacement of uniforms and linens with the Laundry department to maintain established standards of cleanliness and quality.
