The vibrant Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale is seeking their next Food and Beverage Manager! This 361 room hotel boasts almost 13, 000 square feet of meeting space with an iconic sky-lit tropical atrium, flexible ballrooms for up to 570 guests, and indoor-outdoor venues.

In this role, you will be overseeing both Front of the house and back of the house of the Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, and Happy Hour - Manager's Reception.You will report directly to the Executive Chef and will oversee a total of 10-12 team members per shift

The ideal candidate for this role will be a driven, hands on, engaging leader with 2-3 years of Food and Beverage leadership experience. Hotel management experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

• Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
• Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
