Please note: This position is contingent upon contract award. The anticipated award date is in the first quarter of 2027. Any employment offer extended will be conditional upon contract award and successful completion of all required pre-employment processes, which may include background checks, drug screening, verification of work eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required by the position.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the management and administration of governmental and/or commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain and working understanding of the US Government acquisition and procurement process, company policies and procedures, FAR/DFAR, commercial contracting methods and other government regulations.
• Support assigned proposal activities including, but not limited to, analyzing solicitations and preparing summaries based on the analysis.
• Participate in all proposal team meetings; preparing terms, conditions and assumptions for the proposal; reviewing technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency; and preparing proposal documents for internal bid approval review and submittal to the Customer.
• Administer all aspects of assigned contract processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments.
• Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures.
• Serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts.
• Participate in final stages of assigned contracts by verifying completion of all commitments, and performing assigned activities associated with contract closeout.Education & Credentials:
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related subject; or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
Experience:
• 15 years relevant experience in subcontracts management, preferably in shipbuilding.
• Experience with cost, schedule and performance as it relates to subcontracts oversight.
• Experience in contract formation (including types) and contract law, negotiating contracts, and Risk Management Assessment.
• Experience with flow-down of Government requirements to subcontracts.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledgeable in FAR/DFAR and Federal contracting procedures and processes.
Other:
• CFCM certification preferred.

Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to apply skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management. Knowledge of training methodology and the ability to develop and facilitate technical/operational training to others.
