What You'll Do:

Responsible for performing functions related to the administrative and/or operating payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizing an integrated client server HR/PR system, the responsibilities and duties include; time entry, verification of balances, creating and updating employee tax changes, verification of pay rates, review of system edits, and production and processing of assigned payrolls.

• Maintains detailed knowledge of union contracts, prepare union benefit and other third-party payments.

• Provide high level of customer service to incoming calls involving payroll inquiries, researching and resolving payroll processing errors.Education & Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus job related course work after high school.

Experience:

• 1 - 2 years of general accounting and related financial experience.

• 1 - 3 years of payroll experience utilizing a mainframe or client server-based system strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
