SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Builder and Appointment Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately building customer orders and efficiently scheduling appointments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and process customer orders with precision and attention to detail. Schedule appointments for customers, ensuring optimal time management and resource allocation. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and appointments. Maintain accurate records of orders and appointments in the system. Communicate with account managers to confirm order details and appointment schedules. Address any customer inquiries or issues related to orders and appointments promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer experience. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year or less experience in transportation, customer service, or other related experience.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences and other written materials. Knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of import forwarding and customs brokerage in a domestic and/or international capacity.

OTHER: Travel may be required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
