- Responsible for finding carriers and developing and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Fulfill shipments with the lowest cost and best service carriers.
- Responsible for rate negotiation with carriers.
- Ensure operational execution.
- Communicate performance expectations to carriers for each shipment.
- Participate in carrier business reviews as needed.
- Review carrier service performance and identify service improvements.
Education & Credentials:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or a related field preferred.
0-3 years of experience in truck transportation, truck brokerage, supply chain management, import/export transportation, customer service, negotiations, or related experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- TMS experience preferred.
