Production Strategy Manager, you will focus on mid-term production planning, raw material requirements, and downtime strategies to optimize Coke Florida's production network. You will lead capacity and build planning processes while ensuring strong alignment with Coca-Cola's
National Product Supply Group (NPSG) to drive system-wide efficiencies and resiliency. This role will be instrumental in developing strategies that balance operational capacity, raw material supply, and downtime maintenance planning to support uninterrupted production and profitable growth.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead mid-term production planning (3-12 months horizon) including raw material forecasts, downtime schedules, and capacity utilization strategies.
- Build production plans that balance forecasted demand, maintenance downtime, and system capacity.
- Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Engineering teams to secure material availability and align downtime schedules with production needs.
- Serve as Coke Florida's key integration point with Coca-Cola's National Product Supply Group (NPSG) to ensure strategies align with national infrastructure and capacity planning models.
- Model scenarios for capacity constraints, supply risks, or downtime disruptions and recommend contingency strategies.
- Drive strategic planning processes that incorporate innovation launches, seasonal demand, and promotional activities into build and downtime plans.
- Provide production strategy insights and reporting for senior leadership and NPSG forums.
- Champion best practices in capacity and downtime planning across Coke Florida's production network.
- Lead and mentor planning team members to enhance strategic capability and alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.
For This Role You Will Need: - 8+ years' experience in production planning, capacity management, or supply chain strategy (CPG or manufacturing preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Finance, or related field (advanced degree or APICS/CPIM certification a plus).
- Strong background in raw material planning, production scheduling, and capacity modeling.
- ERP and planning systems experience (SAP, JDA, or equivalent required).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytics skills; proficiency with PowerPoint/Word for reporting and leadership presentations.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with proven ability to influence operations, procurement, and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex planning processes across multiple facilities or business units.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to production facilities and NPSG meetings.
Additional Qualifications That Will Make You Successful In This Role: - Experience with downtime scheduling and capacity optimization in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Coca-Cola system planning processes or NPSG alignment preferred.
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and results orientation.
- Ability to embrace change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
