Weatherby Healthcare is looking for an Assignment Coordinator to join our AC team. The Assignment Coordinator team ensures top-tier customer service for both internal and external clients. Working closely with sales, they manage assignments from start to finish. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, and efficient in prioritizing tasks. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to support leadership in driving change are essential. This role embodies the company's core values and contributes to continuous improvement.

This role will report to an Assignment Coordinator Manager

Responsibilities
  • Manage high-volume inbound/outbound communication with both internal & external customers
  • Manage the full lifecycle of assignments (schedule, rates, quality, and data accuracy)
  • Authenticate and communicate medical staff service needs (credentialing, licensing, and auditing)
  • Analyze and audit reports to maintain data integrity (weekly days calculations, dashboards, and spreadsheets)
  • Collaborate with other internal business partner teams to meet assignment needs and requests


Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service and data management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and process improvement mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, Outlook, Excel, and web-based apps
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping


Education and Years of Experience:
  • 2 years' work experience in an administrative and/or customer service position
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred skills
  • Work experience in the health care or staffing industries
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology


We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $47, 840 -- $82, 252 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
