Description:
The Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) System Administrator role acts as a technical lead, provides day-to-day support and maintenance of Workforce Central platform. The Administrator role will support and collaborate with all aspects related to HR, Payroll and staff scheduling operations within the company; provides management support for all projects and initiatives; while managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Modifies and maintains UKG application configurations including but not limited to: Maintenance of Pay Rules. Knowledge of system interfaces. Design and configure pay policies.
- Maintain required tables as needed in support of payroll based journaling, accesses, scheduling.
- Leads administration of UKG applications and platforms, including database and table maintenance, application maintenance and upgrades, licenses, and platform maintenance and upgrades.
- Acts as technical liaison between HR, Payroll and staff scheduling. Provides technical resource support for ancillary HR application owners and HR initiatives.
- Creates technical documentation including, data flow diagrams, software/configuration specifications, operational procedures, and other related documentation.
- Execute or coordinates UKG application administration tasks, including system configuration setting, UKG and associated software application administration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, staff scheduling and other end-users to facilitate the identification, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements; assists in the creation of technical specifications, design documentation, and testing strategies for above business requirements.
- Implement audits and analysis to ensure system integrity, appropriate access and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate integration solutions using import tools, including business process analysis, design, development and testing.
- Support other technical functions in selection, analysis and implementation of new tools.
- Troubleshoot failures in application functionality and scheduled activities
- Provide data and analysis for periodic audits with internal and external parties.
- Communicating with departments concerning scheduling or time and attendance related issues
- Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
- Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
- Troubleshooting scheduling and timekeeping system issues by working with internal and external business partners.
- Understanding program interfaces and the flow of files and data for troubleshooting issues
- Maintaining data tables and databases within UKG and understanding how the data affects payroll and scheduling functionality for processing, and financial data for mapping
- Performing acceptance testing and documenting testing plans
- Maintain and update system function and capability documentation
- Understand individual and system wide metrics while assisting with documenting scheduling and time and attendance and reconciliation related metrics
- Creating, maintaining, and communicating training materials
- Validating, processing and reporting of information
- Verifying and evaluating program specifications
- Understanding the scheduled jobs and processes that affect input and/or output
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years Payroll Experience required
- 3-5 years administering the UKG Workforce Central System v8 or higher, required
- 2-3 years administering UKG Workforce Central Advanced Scheduling v8 or higher, required
- 1-3 years administering UKG Dimensions, preferred
- 5-8 years administering the UKG Workforce Central System v8.1, preferred
- 3-5 years administering UKG Workforce Central Advanced Scheduling v8., preferred
- Integration and database administration experience, preferred
Location: ONSITE Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216
Hours: Full-time, 40 hour per week
Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
