Location Overview: This position is located at our University Crossing location, Joint Commission certified, three-story, 82, 000 square-foot facility with 111 beds, serving patients with both short and long-term rehabilitation needs. Position Summary: Administers physical therapy treatments to patients working under the direction of and as an assistant to the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Functions under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
• Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
• Effectively communicate both verbally and written
• Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:

• Current PTA license in state of Florida
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
  

Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
