Description:

Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our Outpatient team. This role is ideal for professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experts in the field to help facilitate personal and professional growth and provide superior patient care.

Location: Various Locations throughout the Jacksonville Region

Department: Outpatient - Float Team

Hours: M-F; Part-Time (20+hrs/week)

Caseload: Allowing you to treat your desired caseload of Adult or Pediatrics

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
  • Apply a variety of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and swallowing disorders
  • Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
  • Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license in state of Florida
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
