Description:

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is hiring Junior Contract / Procurement Analyst (Jr. PA) to help us support the Navy Mission (NAVFAC Southeast) at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.

The Junior Procurement Analyst will report to the Team Lead and support and work as member of the contact closeout team . The successful candidate will understand the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and applicable regulations, policy and guidance and have the ability to understand and master new automated systems quickly. Strong organizational/research skills. Superior work ethic.
Major Responsibilities
  • Provide Contract Administration support in order to assist the Contracting staff with administrative tasks to include contract close-out and the preparation of administrative documentation.
  • Process contract closeouts after final payments are disbursed, following proper protocols.
  • Assure delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract.
  • Communicate with Payment Office, as appropriate, to submit requests for corrections in order to properly close out contracts.
  • Skill in operating a computer and keyboard. Ability to utilize office automation equipment such as, word processing software to enter, create, and edit correspondence; to format documents and reports; enter data into the database; and produce/print database products.
  • Coordinate the closeout process including punch list preparation and completion, testing and startup of major systems, training, final acceptance, contractor evaluation and final payment
Minimum Education/Experience
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with clerical related work.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as, but not limited to, the Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently to report on progress and outcome of assignments and to present recommendations to Government personnel
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation.
Preferred Knowledge or Skills
  • Desired: Prior experience with the administration of Navy contracts


Physical Demands
  • Sedentary to light physical workload.
  • Employee must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
