The TeamThe Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial planning and reporting and financial operations functions for the Global Tax practice. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, Global Tax, this individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis, preparing budgets and forecasts, ad hoc modeling, and supporting various financial processes and initiatives. This role requires a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, systems thinking, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
How you will contributeKey Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive analysis and interpretation of financial results and key operational metrics across multiple countries within Global Tax.
- Perform monthly reviews and analyses of overhead expenditures, comparing them against the budget and prior year figures, and preparing detailed reports.
- Assist the finance team in the preparation of the annual budget and regular forecasts.
- Support the finance team in variety of annual year-end processes, reconciliations, and clean ups.
- Provide ad-hoc insights and analyses to business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm in driving initiatives and special projects, showcasing the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Understand the economics of the business and how it influences the financial statements, identify any gaps, and drive any needed changes.
- Communicate and educate A& M Tax professionals globally on finance policies, procedures, and processes.
- Embrace a culture of continuous learning and intellectual curiosity by staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and seeking ways to improve processes, tools, and activities that support the practice and our people.
Qualifications: - Experience: 2-4 years of financial analysis experience in a professional services or similar environment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business or Accounting.
Skills and Experience: - Strong quantitative, analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills, with the ability to dive deep into data while keeping the big picture in focus.
- Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to quickly pick up new concepts.
- High level of intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to explore new ideas, concepts, and solutions.
- Creative problem solver with demonstrated track record to identify and drive change by thinking "out of the box"
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build relationships with individuals across all levels of seniority.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing tight deadlines and balancing multiple tasks.
- Adaptable and responsive to changing demands and priorities.
- High energy and enthusiasm with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: - Advanced expertise in Excel required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of advanced analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI or Alteryx a huge plus.
- Past history applying Gen AI to automate day to day work is a tremendous asset.

The salary range is $90, 000 - $100, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
