The TeamThe Senior FP& A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Managers of Financial Analysis and senior leadership by delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and insights across multiple business units. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive informed decision-making, support planning processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
How you will contribute- Support and actively participate in monthly financial close and business review processes, including preparation of management reporting and presentation materials.
- Analyze monthly financial results, identifying key drivers and variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, and clearly communicating insights into Finance leadership.
- Partner with the CFO and senior finance team in support of the annual compensation planning and year-end processes, including analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, including developing assumptions, updating models, and performing scenario analysis.
- Provide financial guidance and analytical support to business unit leaders, helping translate financial data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Assist Managers of Financial Analysis in ad hoc analysis, special projects, and long-range planning initiatives as needed.
- Continuously improve financial models, reporting processes, and analytical tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
- The year-end financial close and planning processes may necessitate longer work hours during peak periods.
- Month-end close involves compressed timelines requiring timely and accurate execution.
- The position potentially includes periodic bi-annual travel related to budgeting, planning, and professional development activities.
Qualifications- 3-5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, preferably within a large or complex organization.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, variance analysis); experience with financial systems and BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge in SQL coding

The salary range is $85, 000 - $90, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
