The Team

We are seeking an Endpoint Hardware Lifecycle Engineer to be part of a team responsible for user device endpoint management. Your primary focus will be on liaising with vendors to transition to new models, roadmap tracking and testing and acceptance of new laptops. Maintaining the component information and performing benchmarking of proposed new models. Working with our 3rd party vendors to co-ordinate onboarding of new models and new build processes. The work will also involve evaluation and management of devices outside of the CTO offerings as required.

How you will contribute
  • Liaise with vendors to transition models throughout their lifecycle
  • Co-ordinate and arrange delivery of test units
  • Carry out technical benchmarking of proposed devices
  • Track lifecycle roadmaps of all Hardware
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to transition through models and build requirement
  • Keep all interested parties aware of current model status
  • Create a centralized system to present the information to all interested parties
  • Co-ordinate with our internal asset management team

Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing Intune. 3-4 years' experience; preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Intune solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of endpoint management, security, and compliance using Intune.
  • Familiarity with modern management approaches, including co-management with Configuration Manager.
  • Remediation and platform script experience, as well as PowerShell for automation and customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience managing small projects and leading initiatives with minimal direction throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Intune and Azure Administrator Associate and 3rd Party Patching tools such as Patch My PC.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), implementing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience with JAMF and Delinea Privilege Manager.

The salary range is $65, 000 - $80, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
