How you will contributeThis Paralegal position will play a critical role within Alvarez & Marsal's Legal Team. The position will be responsible for the administration of A& M's equity compensation program under the guidance of the Associate General Counsel.
Job Responsibilities Essential Functions:
- Prepare contracts from standard forms with advanced word-processing features.
- Coordinate and manage contract execution with A& M partners to meet required deadlines.
- Interface with other teams at A& M, such as Human Resources, Tax, and Finance, to source information needed to draft contracts and provide support to A& M partners.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to efficiently track the status and progress of the equity compensation program to provide clear reports for upper management.
- Assist with organizing and managing the equity compensation program's electronic records and files.
- Manage a high volume of inquiries in the Global Equity inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication and direction.
Other Functions:
- Undertake special projects of a complex nature under general supervision.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative support experience in a professional environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with expertise in Microsoft Excel (Macros, V-lookups, X-lookups, and Pivot Tables)
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- High level of judgment/organizational skills and initiative to deal with complex duties
- Ability to adapt to constantly shifting priorities and a changing work environment
- Ability to exercise discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive, highly confidential matters

The salary range is $75, 000 - $85, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
