Job Description

A-1 Industries is hiring a Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist in Fort Pierce, FL. This is a full-time position, and paying $60,000.00–$75,000.00/year.

The Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist plays a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while supporting a positive and engaged workplace culture. This position is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to meet organizational workforce needs.

In addition to talent acquisition, the Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist serves as a strategic partner across multiple Human Resources functions, including employee communications, employee engagement, onboarding, training and development, and HRIS administration. This role works closely with leaders and employees throughout the organization to support business objectives, enhance the employee experience, and contribute to the Company's continued growth and success.

Duties/Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
•Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
•Partner with managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruiting strategies.
•Identifies and implements effective recruiting strategies and sourcing methods based on organizational needs, labor market conditions, and industry best practices.
•Coordinate job postings, advertising, and candidate sourcing activities.
•Maintain recruiting records, requisitions, and candidate data within the HRIS.
•Manages and maintains requisitions and recruitment activity for all open positions.
•Represent the Company at job fairs, community events, and other recruiting initiatives.

Orientation and Onboarding:
•Coordinates and administers new hire orientation and onboarding programs to support employee engagement and successful integration into the organization.
•Partners with hiring managers throughout the recruitment, selection, and offer process, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and other employment terms.
•Supports workforce development efforts, onboarding enhancements, Predictive Index (PI) administration, and Position Qualification System (PQS) updates.

Employee Development and Engagement:
•Coordinate employee training programs to support employee success and development.
•Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and programs that promote a positive workplace culture.
•Assist with workforce development programs and organizational training initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:
•Excellent verbal, written, and organization skills.
•Strong relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
•Strong time management, prioritization, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
•Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
•Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems; Paycom experience preferred.

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
•At least ten years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
•SHRM-CP or PHR preferred/or willingness to obtain.
•SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times.
