Description:

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated QA Manager to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing team on a technically demanding project for a reputable international client. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the overall project schedule in close cooperation with the client's project and site teams.

You'll play a critical part in ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and effective coordination across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of all quality audits, inspections, and reviews across multiple project sites
  • Develop and implement company-wide and project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs) aligned with ISO standards and client specifications
  • Ensure full compliance with internal quality policies and procedures, and drive their consistent implementation across all project phases
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor quality plans, ensuring they meet project and company quality standards before onboarding
  • Act as the primary liaison with client-side QA/QC representatives to preempt and resolve quality-related issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Construction Leads to embed quality best practices into project planning and execution
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and lead the development of effective corrective/preventive actions
  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs and trends, recommending improvements to senior leadership
  • Provide mentorship and training to site-based QA/QC personnel to foster a quality-focused culture and develop talent within the team
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in quality systems, documentation, and delivery processes

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in a construction environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: data centres, nuclear facilities, or substations, large scale construction projects
  • Strong understanding of installation, commissioning, and construction quality assurance processes
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, cGMP, ASME)
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder presentations
  • Professional certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) are an advantage
