Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated
Planning Manager to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the overall project schedule in close cooperation with the client's project and site teams. You'll play a critical part in ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and effective coordination across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules to support the client's project objectives
- Prepare bid-phase programmes and timeline strategies for tender evaluations
- Collaborate with the client's project management and on-site teams to implement planning methodologies and scheduling best practices
- Provide regular progress updates and performance reporting to the client's senior stakeholders
- Participate in coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives
- Assist in identifying schedule risks and support proactive resolution of timeline challenges
- Coordinate resource and delivery timelines across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Create and maintain planning documentation and procedures to ensure alignment with project controls
- Mentor and guide junior planning team members as required
- Act as the planning lead in client meetings, ensuring alignment across all delivery partners
Qualifications & Experience: - Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' planning experience in large-scale construction or industrial projects
- Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: data centres, nuclear facilities, or substations, large scale construction projects
- Proficient in planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
- Familiarity with BIM-integrated planning tools is considered an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret complex construction plans and convert them into actionable schedules
- Experience in a client-facing role and confidence in managing stakeholder expectations
