Description:

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated OFCI Package Manager to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and management of the Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) packages, ensuring that all elements of the project are delivered in accordance with the client's requirements and project timelines. You will work closely with vendors, stakeholders, and the construction team to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a technically demanding project while ensuring operational excellence and effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the coordination and delivery of all OFCI packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Lead and support the OFCI team to ensure engineering, planning, and installation are conducted in accordance with the project's scope and schedule.
  • Act as the key interface with client-appointed vendors and other relevant stakeholders, facilitating discussions and escalations where necessary to address project challenges.
  • Coordinate vendor equipment to align with construction requirements and project milestones.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the client, OFCI vendors, and key stakeholders to review progress, resolve issues, and align on next steps.
  • Provide detailed reporting on OFCI package progress and milestones.
  • Escalate issues and risks, working closely with project stakeholders to mitigate potential delays.
  • Oversee technical aspects of OFCI packages, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and issues are resolved effectively.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information and documentation at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience working with an M& E contractor in a similar capacity.
  • Qualified Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: data centres, nuclear facilities, substations, or other major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, project timelines, and the integration of various vendor deliverables.
  • Experience in managing OFCI items and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams is highly advantageous.
