Description:

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the overall project schedule in close cooperation with the client's project and site teams. You'll play a critical part in ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and effective coordination across all phases of the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute and oversee all mechanical commissioning operations on-site.
  • Review and complete mechanical commissioning protocols, including diagnostics and fault-finding.
  • Ensure all project commissioning deadlines are met in compliance with safety standards.
  • Verify that HVAC and mechanical systems meet performance expectations.
  • Witness vendor commissioning activities and ensure adherence to approved documentation.
  • Track receipt and compliance of project commissioning documentation for sign-off.
  • Manage the tagging process and oversee daily mechanical commissioning procedures.

Requirements:
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a certified Mechanical Trade.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar commissioning role within a construction environment.
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical commissioning protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Strong safety awareness and familiarity with construction site environments.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented, process-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
