Description:

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Lead to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland. In this role the successful candidate will lead the electrical engineering function on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of complex MEP works to the highest safety and quality standards. We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing team on a technically demanding project for a reputable international client. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the overall project schedule in close cooperation with the client's project and site teams. You'll play a critical part in ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and effective coordination across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Electrical Engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and propose value-engineering opportunities to improve cost-efficiency and buildability while maintaining quality.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and assist in managing project budgets and procurement.
  • Monitor on-site electrical works, ensuring compliance with specifications, workmanship standards, and material quality.
  • Liaise closely with contracts managers, engineers, and discipline leads to ensure timely, accurate communication across the project.
  • Review drawings and specifications, raising any issues or discrepancies with the design team promptly.
  • Define project resource requirements and foster a motivated and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of strict health and safety procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong background in procurement, scheduling, and construction sequencing.
  • Proven experience in leading MEP teams on large-scale data center or similar complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
