Description:
Enersense Engineering is looking for experienced
CSA Construction Manager (Civils) to support a major data centre construction project in Helsinki, Finland.
The role will be responsible for managing the civil and structural elements of CSA works on site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of large-scale construction activities in line with project requirements.
Main tasks and responsibilities: - Manage coordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) work packages, with focus on civil and structural scope
- Manage and support CSA supervisors and site teams to deliver project scope on a fast-track, complex construction project
- Lead site safety in coordination with Project Manager and HSE team
- Promote and maintain strong culture of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards across all civils activities
- Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation activities for civil works
- Develop and support CSA delivery strategy for civil packages and works sequencing
- Support commercial team with scope definition and subcontract package development
- Review design information and identify discrepancies, deviations, and constructability issues related to civil works
- Ensure alignment of construction works with approved design, programme, and contractual requirements
- Manage site operations for civil works, including subcontractor coordination and performance monitoring
- Develop and maintain detailed site planning, including short-term look-ahead programmes (4-12 weeks)
- Coordinate with planners and project management team on programme updates and sequencing
- Manage subcontractor progress, resources, and productivity against schedule
- Chair and participate in progress and coordination meetings with civil subcontractors
- Ensure accurate maintenance of site documentation, QA records, and reporting systems
- Support change management and variation identification with commercial team
- Review drawings and setting-out information for civil works execution
- Ensure proper coordination of builder's works and interface with MEP systems where required
- Support project close-out including punch lists, QA files, safety files, and handover documentation
Requirements: - Minimum 7-10 years' experience in CSA or civil construction management roles
- Strong background in civil and structural construction works on large-scale projects
- Experience delivering data centre, infrastructure, or complex industrial projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming, and site logistics
- Experience managing subcontractors and internal site teams
- Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality management systems
- Experience with short-term planning (4-12 week look-ahead programmes)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- English language skills
