Role Overview

As the Business Development manager, you will be the subject matter expert for Order Management Solutions (OMS) working in partnership with DHL Sales to enable the OMS product to enable on our Growth and EBIT targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business development and revenue growth for Order Management Solutions in both the UK and European markets.
  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities with new clients.
  • Develop retention, upsell and cross-sell strategies with our existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy of future needs.
  • Represent DHL professionally at industry events and client meetings.
  • Ensures that all interactions are compliant with DPDHL Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g. anti-corruption
  • Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program

HOURS/SHIFT PATTERN: 37.5 per week (Adaptable working). Occasional requirement to work UK National Holidays in line with customer requirements

REPORTS TO: Head of OMS

OFFICE: Role is based in UK and Principal office – Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry.

TRAVEL: This role has both UK and European regional responsibilities and will include EU travelling
