Home Group is hiring a Support Worker in Newcastle upon Tyne (Denmark Street), ENG. This is a full-time position.
Support Worker
Earn £13.45 per hour (£26, 300 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) rota working

You have
Passion to support our customers to live their best lives
Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure
Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs
A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it)

The practical bits
You will be required to work on a rota that will include some weekend working.
The rota includes early starts from 7: 00am and late finishes up to 8: 30pm. However, you'll have plenty of rest days in between to help maintain a good work-life balance.
Most of your day will be service based (Cedar House in Byker) working alongside your colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.
We do get together regularly for training and team meetings
You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay)
