Housing Management Worker

Salary £24, 638 per annum plus health cash plan and matching pension contribution.

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

What you’ll do

  • Carry out safety checks on an over 55 sheme and report repairs to keep homes safe and secure

  • Turn around empty rooms quickly so new customers can move in

  • Help customers understand their tenancy and manage their rent

  • Support customers with benefit claims and signposting to other services

  • Keep records up to date and make sure contractors meet our standards

You have

  • Experience in housing, property, care or criminal justice, or equivalent experience

  • Good communication skills and confidence using IT systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping people

  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly when needed

Practical bits

  • You’ll work Monday to Friday

  • We work between the hours of 9am to 5pm

  • You’ll work from our service in Barnard Castle but there may be occasions where travel may be needed, to attend team meetings, undertake home visits or to support at a Local scheme.

  • You need an Enhanced with barring list DBS check that we pay for
