What you’ll do

• Keep the building safe and secure through regular checks and CCTV

• Be the first point of contact for customers and emergencies overnight

• Spot and respond to changes in behaviour with care and confidence

• Build positive relationships with neighbours and the local community

• Record and hand over key information to the daytime team

You have

• Experience working alone and staying calm under pressure

• Great people skills and a flexible, person-centred approach

• Confidence to manage challenging behaviour and de-escalate situations

• Good literacy and numeracy, and able to keep accurate records

• A full UK driving licence (or equivalent experience if not essential)

Practical bits

• Working waking nights, on a lone working basis. You’ll occasionally need to attend daytime meetings or training.

• We work between the hours of 21: 45 to 08: 15.

• Rota Working on a rota of 4 on, 4 off basis

• You’ll work from our Erdely Villa service in Middlesbrough, which is easily accessed by public transport.

• There is free on-site parking. You need an Enhanced with barring list DBS check that we pay for.
