Typical shift as a bank Support Worker

  • Working with older people aged 55+ with complex needs.
  • There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from assisting customers with their practical, daily living tasks to working through support plans, helping them to achieve independence.
  • You’ll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of services.
  • You might find yourself working in accommodation-based services, or supporting our dispersed customers in a community or home-based setting.

You bring

  • Enjoyment working with a range of customers.
  • Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
  • Experience as a Support Worker. It is important that you have worked in this type of environment before.
  • A positive, can do and caring attitude, with the desire to learn to continue making a difference to our customers lives.
  • Previous experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.

Our team

You’ll join our Homeside Lodge team and pick up any available shifts we have to offer. Currently we have hours available in our service to support our customers in the community to manage their tenancies and day to day living.

You’ll join our Senior Client Services Manager Sarah Hill and our Client Services Manager Jessica Holman and our Homeside team, we’re super passionate about what we do!

We’re proud of the fantastic quality of support we offer to customers accessing our services. We’re a supportive bunch and like to have regular catch up's, (Don't worry, there is always coffee, tea and biscuits!)

Job details

  • We’re looking for you to work at Homeside Lodge and be part of our remote bank pool.
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
