Bank Mental Health Lead Support Worker

Typical shift as a Bank Support Coordinator: (known to us as Flexible Bank Support Coordinator)

  • Mental Health customer group; with secondary needs of substance misuse; physical disability; learning disability and autism
  • There is lots for you to do and get involved in
  • One shift you might be supporting someone for a GP appointment, the next you might be doing a LIFE Review with a colleague; and supporting to manage a customer crisis
  • We have numerous services in Hampshire so if you are willing to travel you could be supporting customers in a variety of settings, not just Buller Court.

You bring

  • Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
  • You’re a real people person, confident to work with a variety of customers and get on with colleagues.
  • You’ll have experience of supporting vulnerable people, and to be brilliant, you have a positive can do and caring attitude and the desire to learn and make a difference to our customers lives!
  • You’ll have previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.

Our team

You’ll join our wider services in Hampshire region and the great thing is you can pick up shifts in any of these services that need it! Currently we have hours available in our Buller Court service in Farnborough with our Manager Jay Gathergood. Our team works with customers with mental health needs and are super passionate about what we do! We’re a supportive and welcoming bunch.

Job details

  • Flexible working hours
  • We’re looking for you to work across the Hampshire region which include our service in Farnborough
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
  • To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
