Step into our Electrical Compliance Manager role in the Building Safety Compliance Team and help build safety and trust from the socket up. This is more than audits and inspections. This role is your chance to set the tone and make a mark. You’ll be our NICEIC duty holder, guiding a fresh assurance programme that puts standards first. From reviewing certificates to mentoring auditors and spotting the stories behind the stats, your leadership will spark smarter, safer service across our homes. What you’ll do

• Lead our NICEIC electrical safety assurance, ensuring our registration stays spotless
• Plan and deliver technical audits, both on-site and desk-based, with real follow-through
• Guide and grow a team of electrical auditors with coaching, support and confidence
• Spot trends in inspection data to reduce risks and drive real change
• Collaborate across teams and contractors to raise standards and solve root problems
• Lead the charge on key projects and new ways of working in the compliance space

What you bring

• A solid electrical discipline qualification and real-world experience of compliance
• A cool head and clear voice when it comes to technical oversight and assurance
• Experience delivering audit programmes in a social housing or similar setting
• A knack for reading data and turning insights into better outcomes
• A collaborative and mentoring style that builds trust and raises performance
• Knowledge of landlord duties, NICEIC regs, and a drive to keep people safe

Job details

• You’ll work Monday to Friday
• You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch or pop out for a walk, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
• This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend 2 days in One Strawberry Lane and the rest working from home
• To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
