Typical shift as a Reablement Worker

• Supporting customers who have more complex needs with personal care including bathing, toileting and getting dressed
• Supporting our customers in their own apartment who have a range of support needs including frailty and dementia
• Working closely with the care team to follow support plans, reporting concerns
• Help customers regain or maintain independence to live well in their own home by carrying out every day daily living activities themselves.
• You’ll have plenty of time for cuppas, chats and catch ups, there’s no rushing from one customer to the next here!

You bring

• A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
• Care Certificate or willing to complete within the first 12 weeks of employment
• If you’ve worked in a CQC care setting previously, that would be great!
• Have a positive, caring can-do attitude, and empathy to really make a difference to our customers lives
• Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively
• Knowledge of local community and networks would be brilliant

Job details

We provide 24 hour support to our customers…

• Although you’ll work nights, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.
• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
