Typical day as an Assistant Product Owner
Collaborate closely with the Lead Product Owner to maintain and evolve the roadmap for our digital products, ensuring they meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and colleagues.
Immerse yourself in market trends, customer feedback, and analytics to guide the development of features that truly matter.
Work hand-in-hand with web development teams, crafting user stories and journeys that bring our digital vision to life.
Navigate through priorities, conflicts, and stakeholder needs to secure a product roadmap that aligns with our strategic goals.
Engage in all agile ceremonies, from sprint planning to retrospectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Be a pivotal part of product releases, communicating value and expectations to stakeholders, reinforcing your role as a key product knowledge source.

You bring
A collaborative spirit, thriving in teamwork and open communication across various groups within Home Group.
Experience in product management, demonstrating a track record of influencing product development to enhance user satisfaction.
An understanding of web technologies and how they can be leveraged to meet customer needs in the digital realm.
A proactive, win-win approach to problem-solving, always seeking solutions that benefit all parties involved.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships and effectively influencing across the organisation.
A curiosity for Agile methodologies and digital product design, with a keen interest in continuous learning and development in these areas.

Job details
Flexible working hours (or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that!
This is a hybrid role, you’ll spend 2 days a week in the office, 3 days working at home.
Able to use technology to collaborate with customers and colleagues and have a finger on the pulse with digital technologies.
